That’s right---we’re celebrating Global Running Day the only way we know how---alongside the Austin running community! Join us as we head to Central Machine Works to celebrate the big day alongside our friends at Eastside Beer Runners and the Cap10K and would love for you to join us.

Global Running Day is a day for people around the world to celebrate the joys of running. Participation is easy—just pledge to take part in some type of running activity on June 7, 2023. It can be a solo lap around the block, a long run with friends, or even a game of tag with your kids. The key is to share your passion for the sport and inspire others to get moving too. 

Special thank you to Central Machine works for not only hosting, but also for premiering their newest smash ale Smash PRs. This single malt and single hop ale using Rahr North Star Pils malt and Cryo Pop hops. With some tropical nuances with aromatics of berries, citrus, and stonefruit, this should be in the 5% abv range with low bitterness and bright on the palette. Very crushable. Brewers are also considering upping the electrolyte content of sodium and potassium to really make it a “runners” brew.
