Austin COVID Update - January
A letter from Fleet Feet Austins Operating Partner, Ari Perez
Austin-Travis County area enters Stage 5 of COVID-19 risk based guidelines
Austin health leaders recently announced the Austin-Travis County area has re-entered Stage 5 of their COVID-19 risk based guidelines.
I wanted to take a moment to offer an update regarding our continued in-store safety protocols and mitigation tactics, in the hope we're able to responsibly continue to serve the Austin community.
To this point, there will be no revision with our in-store operations, although the biggest change will concern our 6:30am Friday morning community run. We'll continue to host our Friday morning run from our downtown Seaholm location, but will now conduct our morning announcements outside for the time being.
This minor, but yet important, change comes in the hope we're able to continue to host our weekly run while doing our best to mitigate transmission of COVID-19 within the community we love.
We look forward to the upcoming 2022 3M Half Marathon and the 30th edition of the Ascension Seton Austin Marathon over the next few weeks and will continue to stay diligent during such fluid circumstances.
Thanks for your patience and understanding. We've continually revised our efforts to reflect the safest course of action and we're grateful to have your support.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly with any questions or requests.
Thanks again.
