ABC Run/Walk #106 is March 3

by Merlin Anderson (abcrunner@frontier.com)

Let’s combine the last Anderson Tuesday night run of the season with an Adventure Benefiting Children run for a great cause!

It will be Lasagna night on Tuesday, March 3 at the Andersons: 112 Doud Dr, Normal).

Doors open at 5:00, a 4-mile run/walk starts promptly at 5:30 with meal to follow.

Why?  Help the Spencer family from Downs who have two boys (Austin and Mason) who have had to have bone marrow transplants.

One is back in school but the other is very sick and has not left the Cincinnati children's hospital since August 1st.

A group has been working with COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Association) to raise money to help with expenses.

For more information go to http://cotaforteamspencer.com/

As with all ABC runs, this event is free.  Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated.

Make checks payable to: Children’s Organ Transplant Association (or COTA) and be sure to write “Austin & Mason Spencer” on your memo line.

The menu will include Meg’s famous lasagna, bread, salad and more!  Bring something to share if you wish.
