ASE Run January 25th
by Kirby Cheek (kirby_j_cheek@msn.com)
Pit Row in Heyworth, is once again welcoming us to an ASE. Pit Row is at 207 S Vine St. in Heyworth, just half a block north of Rt. 136 (Cleveland St.)
Per the custom, the running starts at noon, some doing a shorter 3 1/4 mile course going south of town. For a bit more distance, there is a pleasant 8 mile loop course heading northeast of town along a nice wooded interesting rolling course. Want something in-between? The longer route can be adjusted to an out-and-back route while still incorporating some roll and some woods.
After running, at 1:00ish, we'll return to Pit Row to enjoy their menu and swap stories, tales and lies of running adventures, efforts and injuries.
Hope you can join us!
PS - If you’re new to the ASE thing, ASE stands for “Another Stupid Event” We do a couple each winter at various “out-of-B/N” locations, to fight cabin fever as an alternative to the usual winter running routes.
