The Power of Running - THANK YOU!
If you told us 11 months ago that we'd be able to do for Buffalo what we did last Wednesday night, we would never have believed you. Thank you Buffalo for welcoming us!
What a very special evening last Wednesday at The Buffalo Mizuno Power to Inspire Party!
We are so proud after 11 months of ownership to be able to donate over $5000 in cash and Mizuno product to very deserving individuals and organizations who inspire us.
The 2 month Power of Running Campaign concluded Wednesday in Buffalo
by allowing us to recognize the following:
by allowing us to recognize the following:
- Three members of the Buffalo Running Community who inspire others to run and by their running. These individuals are Dan Hughes, Dr. John Nasca and Kristen Cicali. Each received a pair of Mizuno footwear for their contributions and inspiration.
- We were able to present Buffalo RACIN' with a check for $500 to help go towards wheelchairs so those with disabilities can participate in races the way many of us take for granted
- Many thanks to a $2500 grant from Mizuno we were able to present 42 HS Cross Country Athletes at Hutchinson Tech School with new Complimentary Mizuno footwear
In just 2 months the "Power of Running" in Western NY has enabled HS XC students to continue a healthy path of running, has allowed a wonderful organization to further their mission of bettering our community and recognizing people who didn't just run for themselves but for others! Thank you!
