Fall Marathon Training - CIM
 

A California International Marathon training experience like no other!

The Official CIM Training Program has everything you need to run your first or your fastest marathon: experienced coaches, ability-based training plans, marathon specific seminars, discounted tune-up races, race-day VIP access, and so much more!

All participants will receive a 16-week training schedule designed to prepare you to race the California International Marathon, or other marathon of your choice. This group will meet up twice per week—a weekday speed/hill workout, and a weekend long run. You will be working with knowledgeable Fleet Feet coaches every step of the way.

Fall Trail Marathon & 10k Training
Trail Half and 10k Training
 
Trail running! Some of the most magical time spent running will be out exploring the great trails of our local parks. You will get dirty, you may get wet, and your will be guaranteed some great views!

This 9-week program will target new local trail race (more info to come) Other options are Diablo summit stomp and Bizz Johnson.

Program Kickoff and Fun Run:  Wednesday August 23rd, 2023, at 6:15pm at Hooker Oak Park.  Meet your coach, get information about the program, and get ready to head out on your first training run. Bring a friend!

Fleet Feet Chico Summer Trail Camp 

Little Grass Valley Reservoir 
August 18th-20th


Trail camp has been moved to August 18th-20th. Camping and Trail running, can't get much better than that!
Join us for our 5th annual Summer Trail Camp! 

Join Fleet Feet Sports Chico for three days of wild trail running fun at Little Grass Valley ReservoirFriday, Saturday and Sunday (August 18th-20th) Three days, two nights, four runs and a whole lot of fun!

Get ready for a fun weekend including: 

  • Daily trail runs on the beautiful reservoir and the surrounding trails. Distance options for all levels!
  • Clinics and demo from Brooks
  • Recovery zone with yoga, massage tools, and relaxation  
  • Cornhole, bonfire, s'mores, and more!
  • Delicious homemade meals, adult refreshments, and snacks will be provided. (Please email shawna@fleetfeetchico.com for dietary restrictions)
  • Let's not forget an amazing swag bag with one-of-a-kind goodies inside and a beautiful lake view!
  • All the memories! You will not want to miss!

All you need is your tent, sleeping bag, clothes and running shoes and be ready for a great weekend! (Maybe a toothbrush and a few other items too)

Space is limited to the first 20 runners so don't wait to sign up! Registration will close August 11th or when Full.

49th Annual Almond Bowl
November 5th, 2023

5k and 10k Run/Walk

Lower Bidwell Park, Chico CA

Keeping with the Chico tradition we will be hosting a 5k and 10k race starting on South Park Drive and finishing near the Sycamore Field. The price of this race includes your race shirt from Upper Park Clothing, a race bib for you to wear during your run on the Bidwell parks certified course. Enjoy a post-race snack bag of goodies after your run and pop by the Fleet Feet tent to see if you earned a prize based on your age group time! 

This race, along with the Bidwell classic, are fundraisers for our local high school's cross-country teams and band programs! Programs that have been supported for many years by these races!

Additional donations can be accepted on the registration page! Let's make this a big year for our youth sports, and the local marching bands! We would love to see you dressed up in your school colors during the run and show some school pride!!
