Fleet Feet Downtown Mile is Back

Sunday April 14th will see the return of the fast and furious Fleet Feet Downtown Mile. Downtown Chico streets will be closed to traffic for the Chico Criterium bike race and, while the riders and course marshals take a lunch break, the runners will take their turn.  Last year's winning time was a scorching 4 minutes and 35 seconds. Said Alan Rice, Co-Owner of Fleet Feet, "This race is a lot of fun. It may also be your only chance to legally run as fast as you can down the middle of the street!"

The Downtown Mile starts on Broadway between 3rd and 4th Streets, and finishes on Main Street right outside of Fleet Feet.  Another bonus for those interested in doing the race, registration is free.
