It's true! Squatches have been heard at Alum Creek! They are calling for you! We are stoked to host you at the Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek for another great event! 

Packet Pickup: Early packet pickup is being held at Fleet Feet Sports this Tuesday and Wednesday at the Polaris location. Race day packet pickup will begin on Thursday at 5pm at the race site.

The Race Site: The race site is located just off of Old State Rd. and Hollenback Rd, and just south of the dog park(3993 Hollenback Rd Lewis Center, OH 43035). Watch for Yellow Fleet Feet arrows pointing you in the right direction!

Race Start Time: The race will start promptly at 6:15pm!    

Parking: Follow the yellow Fleet Feet arrows from Old State Rd. All cars will be parking along the road leading down to the start off of Hollenback Rd., and in the Marina parking lot. We will have volunteers and signage showing you exactly where to park.

The Course: The Rocks and Roots Trail is the only trail built by runners for runners in Central Ohio! Over  700 volunteer hours have gone into it thus far! We look forward to showcasing this beautiful trail!  This is a 10K loop, with ONE aid station at the 2.5 mile mark. 

Water Bottles: Please carry your own hydration on the course. The course will take you longer than your average 10K. Be prepared by carrying your own hydration.  

Leave No Trace: It's very simple. Carry out what you carry in. Don't drop gel packets, bottles, or anything else for that matter! Countless hours have gone into the making of this trail. Please help us keep our trail beautiful!

Trail Markings:  The trail is well marked with yellow arrows on trees. You will also see yellow signs staked into the ground marking turns. Arrows will also be painted on the ground marking turns.

Aid Station: We will have aid stations on the course roughly around mile 2.5. The station will be stocked with water and Gatorade. We will have volunteers at the station to help you fill up your water bottles.  

The Swag: All participants receive an event tee, a sweet finisher's medal and post-race goodies. The first 100 to pick up their packet at Fleet Feet receive custom Squatch Hat!

The Movie: Bring the family, some lawn chairs, and a blanket or two! Stick around after the race for a fun, family friendly viewing of Harry and the Henderson's! We attempted this last year, but the video skipped to no end! We have secured a new copy, tested it out, and are excited to do it right this year! We'll have some fun snacks, but feel free to bring your own. Extra points, if you bring a family favorite snack to share! We will start the movie once it is dark enough to get it rolling!
