A letter to our community.

Dear Friends,

In a time of unprecedented crisis, unprecedented actions are warranted. As a family-run small business, we feel a strong sense of responsibility to look out for our community – including customers and staff.

Our responsibility to limit the spread of this virus is paramount. As such, we have made the heartbreaking decision to close our store to the public and cancel all group runs effective immediately.

While I don’t know when we will be able to reopen, I do know that we WILL open our doors again when authorities say it is safe to do so.

One of our core values is “Privilege to Serve”. It truly is a privilege to serve our community and to help you live fit, especially in times like these when exercise is critical to our physical and mental health. While our doors may be shut to the public, we will not stop in our pursuits to serve:

• Know what you want? Give us a call (860-233-8077) or send us a note, and we will be happy to mail your purchase for free or arrange curbside pickup.

• Shop online 24/7 via FleetFeet.com. The inventory from over 100 individually-owned Fleet Feet stores nationwide is featured on this site. It’s the next best thing to shopping local!

• We will continue to support and motivate runners through virtual meet-ups, chats and online challenges so connect with us on Facebook and Instagram.

• Our full-time staff will continue to be paid and receive benefits as they work on various projects to make the store better and fulfill ordered placed virtually.  

Thank you for your understanding. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Please keep running, stay connected and do what's best for the greater good, one step at a time.
