Freedom Run Recap
The 2nd annual Freedom Run 1 Mile & 2 Mile was a great success! We were joined by nearly twice the amount of runners and walkers as last year, and it was amazing to see over so many of you out on a hot July morning celebrating Independence Day with Fleet Feet Sports and the Town of Farragut. We feel privileged to be part of such a welcoming and fun running community, and we can't wait to see how we'll grow!
Freedom Run Gives Back
The Freedom Run is a great way to do something healthy and fun on this American holiday, while giving back to our nations veterans. The Freedom Run races help raise money for Smoky Mountain Service Dogs, a local non-profit that trains service dogs for disabled US military veterans. This year, we were able to donate $2,500 to their cause. We are so grateful to all who participated and supported us and this wonderful organization.
Team Competition Winners
And the Team Spirit award for largest team goes to... Radio Systems Corporation! Thank you RSC and employees for racing with us. The RSC team has won dinner at Mellow Mushroom!
Results and Awards
Congratulations to our winners and to all of our finishers! Overall and age group winners: your Swiftwick USA Pride socks are at Fleet Feet Sports Knoxville for pick-up. Overall winners for the 1 mile also received an RRCA State Champion medal, make sure to pick yours up! Results are available online, courtesy of Total Race Solutions.

Freedom Run race vols helped us get this race ready by doing everything from helping with packet pickup to monitoring the race course. You guys rock!
