Thurs 1.11 - Q&A Session for Long Distance Training 2024
Join us on Thursday, January 11th at 6:00 pm to learn more about our next training program. This program has multiple options to help you reach your 2024 goals! This open-to-all information session will be followed by our open group run/walk at 6:30pm.
When it comes to New Year's Resolutions, consistency, accountability, and concrete goals are the keys to success. Training with Fleet Feet Knoxville Training is an awesome way to accomplish all three, while becoming stronger and fitter. Plus, this program has a race for everyone!
The training program is designed to help you achieve your long distance running goals in a positive and fun group atmosphere, all while pushing you to become stronger and faster. The 16-week training program is aimed at the Flying Pig racing weekend in Cincinnati, OH. There are multiple options: 1M, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon. Along the way, we will have options to stopover in Chattanooga & Knoxville for additional races.
Use the following guides to select the right program for you:
- Marathon Distance: you should be able to run/walk 8-10 miles comfortably.
- Half Marathon: you should be able to run/walk 5-6 miles comfortably.
- 10k-15k: you should be able to run/walk 2-3 miles comfortably.
