Join us for the Doug Williams 5000 Meter TUNE UP Pub Run Fundraiser

Meet at Tierney's Tavern at 136-138 Valley Road in Montclair, New Jersey for a tune up run to the Doug Williams 5000 Meter Race (to take place on Sunday, September 29, 2013). From Tierney's we will run the race course making this pub run a little over 4 miles.

For a $10 donation receive a raffle ticket and a ticket for one free drink. Receive an arm's length of raffle tickets for an additional $5 donation. Donations will be collected after the run. Raffle prize winners will be announced as soon as everyone has returned. Prizes include a snowboard, a seat in a Saturday class at Amanti Vino, Fleet Feet gift certificate and more!

You will have an opportunity to sign up for the Doug Williams 5000 Meter Race at the pub run.

ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE PUB RUN WILL BENEFIT THE DOUG WILLIAMS SCHOLARSHIP FUND at Montclair State University.

On October 9, 2011, Doug Williams, a longtime resident of Montclair, member of Essex Running Club and graduate of Montclair State University, was walking home on Upper Mountain Avenue after grabbing a bite to eat, just blocks from his home, when he was tragically struck in a hit-and-run accident.
