Hungrymeetshealthy.com Visits Fleet Feet Sports
That afternoon, I stopped by Fleet Feet Sports, also in Mt. Pleasant.
The store has been running a “Support the Girls” October special to help out female students in the Charleston County school district. They teamed up with Moving Comfort to donate sports bras to those in need. During the “Support the Girls” weekends, for every sports bra purchased in their store, the owners have donated one.
While learning about the program, I was also fitted for a sports bra of my choice. Disclaimer: I received this product for free. The girl explained that she would measure my rib cage and bust, and would use this nifty tool to get my sports bra size.
My measurements were rib cage 30″ and bust 34″, so I was calculated as an A. What I’m telling you is that I have no boobs. Just kidding, just kidding. I think sports bras are fitted differently, because that’s not my real bra size. I’m giving too much information at this point, aren’t I? Story of my life. I tried on a few, all too big, and came out of the dressing room asking, “UM guys, do you have kid sizes?”
I ended up with the really bright (and cute!) Vero bra by Moving Comfort. I got a size A/B and thank God for that “slash B” making me feel better about my little tatas.
Aside from the assortment of sports bras and fitness clothing, Fleet Feet has a wall of killer sneakers. Running shoes if you will. No matter how long I live here, I cannot bring myself to say anything but sneakers. But look at all the cute ones, all so bright and fun! Can we all agree that new fitness gear brings excitement and motivation to workouts?
Charleston locals, be sure to check out both spots! Verde is located on Coleman Blvd and Fleet Feet is in the Houston Northcutt shopping center by Whole Foods. Thank you to both Jennifer and Amy for having me out!
