Running Adventures: Race to Kinvara

This July I was fortunate enough to travel to Ireland to participate in a 200-kilometer relay race across the country. After a 10-hour flight, I landed in beautiful, sunny, DRY Dublin! It is impossible to sum up such a life-changing experience in a few sentences, but suffice to say that I will never forget looking over my left shoulder, mid-run, to see magnificent cliffs jutting into an ocean of blue. No cars, no people. Just my breath, a gorgeous landscape, and the sound of my footsteps hitting the pavement. I was so grateful to share this incredible experience with people I met along the way, whom I now consider to be lifelong friends. My trip gave me a renewed love of running. How lucky we are that we can travel anywhere in the world and experience the place through our sport.
