Running in the Dark?
70 percent of pedestrian fatalities happen between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
As the days get shorter, many runners and walkers find themselves out on the road in low light conditions.
"Once you get over the fear or anxiety of it, running in the dark is actually really fun," says Brent Hollowell, VP of Marketing at Nathan. But, he notes, you've got to be prepared. Just because you can see approaching cars doesn't mean that drivers can see you. Stop in this month and we'll get out outfitted so that you can both see and be seen. We carry a wide variety of reflective gear, flashing lights, and running lights and headlamps.
