A-shoo is nothing to sneeze at!

Today, a customer came in to pick up a shoe that we had special ordered for him, the Brooks Beast '14. Upon trying it on, he remarked that he was in a regular width shoe for the first time in many years. He was previously in a 4E width due to obesity and poor health. After further conversation, I learned that this gentleman had Ulcerative Colitis; and two years ago, he made a major life change. He went Vegan and began working out, again. Now, 170 lbs lighter, this gentleman was resplendent with his new purchase - TWO pairs of Beasts - as he exlaimed they would carry him through the last 30 lbs of his weightloss goal!  We are always so happy to share our love of running and wellness with those in our community.  He put a spring in my step this morning, that's for sure.  

Not only did we make him happy, we made a friend.
