FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - First Responders Special Treatment Agency (FRST Agency) Formation Celebration
First Responders Special Treatment Agency (FRST Agency) Formation Celebration
December 20, 2018—Fleet Feet, along with YellowJacket Racing will be announcing, Monday, December 24th at 10:30AM at Fleet Feet @ The Armory, a formation of a new not-for-profit charity to help support local First Responders with PTSD, called the First Responders Special Treatment Agency (aka FRST Agency). The community is invited to join Fleet Feet for their annual Egg Nog Jog, a free public 2 and 3 mile run/walk at 10:30AM, along with announcing the new FRST Agency, its logo, its mission and hearing from its President, Rob Boutillier. Donations are being accepted to the FRST Agency at this event as well.
The FRST Agency creation was first announced at the inaugural First Responders 5K presented by Harris Corporation this summer, whereby YellowJacket Racing, founded this event in order to help form an organization whose mission is to support local First Responders with PTSD. Going forward, proceeds from this event will go directly to the FRST Agency. The First Responders 5K had been in the think tank of YellowJacket Racing/Fleet Feet Co-Owner, David Boutillier (Boots), for a few years. “I have watched my older brother play various roles for the last 40 years for the Webster Fire Department and seeing the toll it can take on these men and women. Recognizing there isn’t currently a support system for PTSD for all local First Responders seemed paramount for this event to create.” states Boutillier.
It does not go unnoticed that this event and launch of this FRST Agency charity is the anniversary of the vicious and unconscionable act that took two of our local First Responders (Michael Chiapperini (Chip) and Tomasz Kaczowka) and injured fellow firefighters Joseph Hofstetter and Ted Scardino 6 years ago in Webster, NY. President of FRST Agency, Rob Boutillier was a First Responder at the initial call that day and Public Information Officer to media and municipalities for the horrific events that transpired. Many First Responders were called that day and days after and it is fitting that now an organization has been born to help our fellow Fire, Police, EMT and 911 Dispatch team find the support they need for the work they do each and every day to help save lives.
Since the First Responders 5K in August, there has been much work with the attorneys to ensure the creation of this not for profit in 2018. The overarching mission is to provide PTSD support to local First Responders in the Great Rochester Region and surrounding counties.
The FRST Agency Board of Directors include:
Rob Boutillier, President |

The public is invited to Monday, December 24th FREE Egg Nog Jog at 10:30AM from Fleet Feet @ The Armory. Runners and walkers are welcome to join this 2 and 3 mile event to recognize this new organization, our local First Responders and ring in good cheer for the holiday.
