Balega Socks
By Karen Waldron-Johnson, Ridgeway Assistant Manager
Popular history suggests that the first socks, dating back to the 8th century B.C., were simple creations – they were animal skins wrapped around the foot and tied at the ankle to provide protection against the elements. Hard to imagine this when our frame for comparison may be the Balega brand of sock, which is absolutely my favorite. Wearing Balegas is like walking in pillows. The shape stays in tact, even after several washes. They come with a non-slip tab and careful stiching, as well as various cushions and lengths and even colors. I love Balegas and think every person deserves a pair! Be careful not to fall asleep!
