As the winter months have come upon us, there are a few items that a runner in western New York must have. One of them is the Nathan Zephyr Fire 300 handheld flashlight! Since daylight is at a premium these days, having a solid and reliable flashlight to carry during an early morning or evening run is a must. There are seven reasons why I love the Nathan Zephyr Fire 300: the rechargeable battery, five modes of light, the rear LED light, the strobe feature that activates when it registers an oncoming car, it easily straps to your hand, emergency siren that can deter dogs and other animals, and the weather resistant durability. I have used my Zephyr Fire 300 on trails while hiking, but also during my night runs in Rochester traffic. All in all, I highly recommend the Nathan Zephyr Fire 300 to any and all winter runners in Rochester!
