Snow Cheap Race Series

The races in the Snow Cheap Trail Series are my favorite races to do in the winter. Getting out to Cobbs Hill Park in the dark all ready with a headlamp, reflective gear, trail shoes and my Yaktrax in the snow and below freezing weather is a blast. Though it's not something that everyone plans on doing on Wednesday nights during the winter, I'd highly recommend giving it a try. The atmosphere of the race is outstanding and low key. About 200+ people come out to trek through the snow, climb some steep hills, and be absolutely blown away by how tough 3-4 miles can be.

 The after party in Riley Lodge, post-race food, door prizes, and sweet Snow Cheap shirt to match the Dirt Cheap shirt are just a few of the awesome perks to this race series.
