Registration is now open for Spring Pub Run Training and the Spring Training Pub Run! Although similarly named, they are two very different activities.
Spring Pub Run Training is an 8 week training program that happens weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6pm outside our downtown Blue Dome Store. We split into groups (pace ranges from <10 min/mile through walking only are available). We run/walk between 1-4 miles with Guinness stops at the store in betweeen. We have many repeat participants that have participated for years. Not because our training is ineffective. Because, our training is just that much FUN! Don't delay, sign up today!
Elgin Park Spring Training Pub Run is the goal race for Spring Pub Run Training. It is an untimed relaxed event taking you through 4 miles downtown stopping at Fassler Hall, McNellie's, and Elgin Park for drink stops. Some even make a day of it ordering food at the stops as well. It's a great activity to get a group together for some fun!
