ASICS GEL-Nimbus 25

The updated GEL-Nimbus is more of an overhaul than a mere update. Gone is the rather predictable squishy trainer, to be replaced by a new, dynamic max-cushioned everyday trainer that owes its look and feel to ASICS’ more recent technological innovations. A full midsole of Flytefoam Blast+ has that great combination of soft and responsive and 20% of the midsole is made of recycled materials. An extra 6mm of cushioning under the forefoot increases comfort and cushioning, while an AHAR+ heel adds to durability. In addition to midsole and outsole updates, the upper of the GEL-Nimbus 25 has also gone through some changes. A new, soft-knit upper has replaced the engineered mesh of the previous version. Don’t worry, however, the amazing stretchy knit tongue of the previous edition of the Nimbus remains, perhaps the only element that has not been improved (it was already fantastic) in the latest version. The new GEL-Nimbus is no longer resting on its laurels. If you haven’t tried the Nimbus in awhile, now is the time.
