The updated New Balance 860 has arrived at Fleet Feet Albany & Malta and remains a classic stability shoe with a strong medial posting. The midsole of the 860 has gone through a positive transformation. The 860 now has a dual density midsole with Fresh Foam X on the top layer for great rebound and cushion and a bottom layer of FuelCell for a solid foundation. This makes for a very stable and comfortable shoe. The upper has been completely reworked. Gone is the Ultra Heel of past models. A new engineered mesh combines with a plush tongue and a new lacing system for better lockdown has resulted in improved fit and comfort.
