The ubdated New Balance 840 has received a significant update. The new 840 is now the “Fresh Foam X” 840. What does this mean? It means that the 840’s midsole is now made out of the soft, yet responsive (think bouncy) Fresh Foam X. The upper has also been streamlined, with overlays removed. This is a sleek, light, and comfortable shoe that is ideal for everyday walking or running. It still accommodates orthotics very well, so you can get that great combination of cushion and support by sliding in your own custom orthotic or one of our brands — SuperFeet, Currex, or PowerStep!
