New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Pacer

The new SuperComp Pacer has the DNA of a low-stack height racing flat for distances under 10K, although efficient runners will have success with this shoe for their half marathons. If you miss the New Balance 1400 or 1500, the SuperComp Pacer fits that spot. The upper has that great locked-down track spike feel and the FuelCell midsole formulation is on the firm side. This, however, is not a throwback racing flat. It has a full-length carbon fiber plate (kind of a deal at $150) to provide that propulsive pop. Want to knock some time off your PR’s?
