This is the Vomero you have been waiting for — a midsole consisting of a full-length layer of Zoom X foam on top with a bottom layer of Cushlon 3.0. The Vomero is like a premium upgrade to the Pegasus and will be great for daily training and long runs. There is a high-abrasion waffle-lug outsole, so the new Vomero promises to be a durable workhorse. The entire upper of the updated Vomero has been redesigned. Gone is the midfoot wrap that was more about aesthetics than usefulness. Now, the upper is a very durable engineered mesh with monofilament yarns.
