Arriving in February, the update of Saucony’s venerable stability shoe constitutes a complete revamp. Gone is the previous version’s arch-shaped TPU posting, replaced by Saucony’s new Center Path Technology. Saucony is now using the geometry of the midsole to supply stability for those who spend too much time in a pronated position. A wider platform and higher sidewalls helps to guide the foot to a more efficient movement pattern. A PWRRUN midsole provides great cushioning that is not too soft. The Guide 17 will be an ideal everyday trainer for runners that require additional, unobtrusive support.
