Saucony makes some variations of their popular trail-runner, the Peregrine 11, to help you tackle even rougher, more extreme conditions. First, we have the Peregrine 11 GTX. The GTX, of course, stands for GORE-TEX, a semi-permeable membrane that keeps water out while allowing water vapor to escape. This is the trail shoe that will keep your feet dry in wet conditions. The Peregrine 11 GTX also has a loop to secure a shoe gaiter for even more protection. Will you be running outdoors this winter? Are you “an anything to avoid the treadmill” type runner? You need to try the Peregrine ICE+ 2. This variation of the Peregrine is ready for cold-weather running. A Vibram ARTIC GRIP outsole sticks to ice for a slip-free running experience.
