Training Program Coordinator
- How many years have you been running: For as long as I can remember I’ve always been running. I started taking running seriously and doing races when I was in middle school, so about 14 years now.
2. Coaching Philosophy: My philosophy for coaching is a basic but effective one: create an environment that's laid back but encourages people to want to learn and get better. Having a space that everyone feels comfortable as well as motivated is key to achieving your goals.
3. What is your favorite thing about coaching: My favorite thing about coaching is meeting all the different people and hearing everyone's experiences with running. Running has always been a part of my life so to hear other peoples stories and experiences can be uplifting.
4.What are you most excited about for as the Training Program Coordinator: I'm most excited to become a greater part of the running community as a Training Program Coordinator. Fleet Feet has played a huge role in my running career so it's nice to be able to repay the community that has done so much for me.
5.What is your favorite race to run: My favorite race to run is any of the Surfer's Path races. The routes are always beautiful and the field has runners of every level. From people hoping to finish their first race to some elite level athletes.
6. What is your favorite shoe to run in: I have SO MANY shoes that it's hard to pick, but if I have to pick just one then I'd say the Asics Novablast 4. It's got fantastic cushioning and it looks fast.
