Train for one of the largest marathons in the US and worldwide: the historic 40th LA Marathon on March 16, 2025
The marathon course takes you from Stadium to the Stars, showcasing the vibrant neighborhoods and famous landmarks of this dynamic city. Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or a first-time participant, the Los Angeles Marathon offers an unforgettable experience for runners of all levels and Fleet Feet has a training program geared just for you!
This year we are offering two different training options with unique training plans to help you PR or Finish
PR (Personal Record)
Want to PR your marathon, and reach new heights in your running career? This group may be for you. In the PR group, you’ll focus on high volume training, run specific workouts and achieving targeted goals. The longest run in this program will be 16 miles and is welcome to runners of all experience but may be best suited for those who have covered the marathon distance before and want to level up their training.
PR Group will meet at Fleet Feet Burbank
- 6:45 pm every Tuesday evening
- 7:15 am every Saturday morning
FINISH
New to the marathon distance and interested in celebrating each run with new friends? This group may be for you. In the Finish group, we’ll focus on community runs, connection and making running part of your lifestyle. The longest run in this program will be 24 miles to give participants the taste of the race in full, so when you walk up to the starting line, you’ll be confident you can handle whatever comes at you. You should be able to run 10 miles and be comfortable dedicating a significant amount of time to training for a marathon.
Finish Group will meet at Fleet Feet Burbank
- 6:30 pm every Tuesday evening
- 7:00 am every Saturday morning
Both LA Marathon Training Programs begins on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

The cost of the program is only $50. For an additional $25, we are offering a New Balance Fleet Feet Racing Team Singlet.
Both 17-week training programs include a calendar of scheduled in-person workouts and additional recommended workouts
