Often, the first step is the hardest, and that's why Limitless was created. Presented by HOKA, this program is your first step to a new and healthier lifestyle. Limitless is about helping you walk or walk/run your first 5k (3.1 miles) or 10k (6.2 miles) and creating healthy lifestyle habits in a fun group setting. This program is designed for those individuals just starting their walking and running regardless of pace or speed. It's not about who is first or last; it's about effort and making lifestyle changes.
Kick Off Informational Meeting
Not sure if Limitless is for you? All are welcome to meet the coaches at an informational kick off meeting and optional icebreaker workout on Sunday, January 19 at 8am at Fleet Feet Folsom.

- Sundays at 8:00 am
- Tuesday at 6:00 pm
- Workouts will be in the Folsom area
Goal Race
We will prepare you for the Shamrock'n 5k or 10k on Saturday, March 15th. Race registration is not included.
Training Schedule
The training is designed to increase week to week so you build slowly, steadily, and consistently towards your goals. Tuesday workouts consist of intensity such as intervals, hills, and tempo to improve your fitness. The Sunday workouts will build endurance towards the goal race distance.
Your training schedule will include workouts for you to do on your own throughout the week which will help you see more progress. If you can’t make a workout, you will have the schedule to continue to follow the plan. All workouts are time based, rather than distance based, so that no one is first or last. We all start and finish together.
Education
Coaches and special guests will educate you in person and in weekly emails on warm ups, mobility, nutrition, hydration, how to prepare for race day, injury prevention, and more. They are also a resource and support for you along the way.
Group Training Atmosphere
Enjoy the safety, accountability, information, and motivation of a coached group workout environment. We also have a private Strava group for you to share, communicate, and get motivation from your fellow training members.
Coaches
- Heather Noguera is the newest member of the coaching staff. Her journey started in Limitless in 2020. She joined Limitless as a new runner and ended up running a half marathon in three months and hasn’t stopped since. She has run multiple 5K’s, 10K’s and half marathons in the last five years and is always looking forward to that next race.Fleet Feet Folsom’s training programs have offered Heather and numerous others community, inclusivity, diversity and the love of road running. She has three mantras: positivity, perseverance and paying it forward. Coach Heather is excited to share the road with you in 2025!
- Rachel Barrington has been coaching with Fleet Feet since 2021. She hasn’t looked back since discovering running in her twenties and loves sharing the joy of running with others. As a Level 1 certified coach with the Road Runners Club of America and certified personal trainer with the American Council of Exercise, her coaching style is rooted in the importance of strength training for runners and best practices in training program design. When she’s not coaching, Rachel is working at Fleet Feet Folsom where she enjoys building connections and helping others. You can also find her running with her friends on the trails for her next ultramarathon. Coach Rachel will be with you every step of the way!
Minimum Activity Level
None! This program is for anyone new to fitness. If you’re not sure this is the right place, be assured that it is the right place for the first step.
