Whether you live here or you’re just visiting, there are plenty of amazing places to run in Fort Worth.
From neighboring Dallas to the heart of Fort Worth, you’ll find running routes suited for all distances and abilities. Plus, Fort Worth is full of great food, watering holes and cafes, so there’s always something to satiate whatever cravings pop up after your run.
For runners who aren’t local to Texas, be aware that it gets hot in the summers. It’s not unheard of to be over 85 degrees by 7 a.m. and more than 110 degrees in the afternoons. So get out for an early morning run, or wait until the evening to get your miles in.
No matter when you lace up, hydrate beforehand and bring plenty of water on your run.
To get you started, we put together this list of some of the best places to run in Fort Worth. If you need more ideas or want to run with friends, check out our group runs!
