Raven Run Nature Sanctuary
- Best for: Trail running
- Starting Location: Raven Run Nature Sanctuary Visitor’s Center, 3885 Raven Run Wy, Lexington, KY 40515

The Raven Run Nature Sanctuary offers an intimate look at the area’s streams, meadows, wildlife and even remnants from 19th century settlers. The area boasts 10 miles of interconnected trails ranging from gentle hills to more challenging, steep inclines.
The area is aptly named—it’s a sanctuary for the flora and fauna native to the area. For this reason, the park asks that visitors stay on the marked trails and don’t veer off into the wilderness. While there are water fountains located at the visitor’s center, there are none on the trails, so be sure to bring a handheld bottle to stay hydrated during your run during the summer months. Parking is free, and restrooms are located behind the visitor’s center.
