Allied Running Club Goal Race

You’re Invited to the Allied Running Club Goal Race

When: Tuesday, August 13, 2012-Arrive at 10:30am to mingle with runners.
Time:  Race begins at 11am
Where: Marlborough Park-2303 Apache Drive, Madison.
Bring: Your loud voices and spirit to cheer on all the runners!

We encourage spectators to come at 10:30am and get the kids excited about their big race.  The first of our 3 races will begin at 11am, with "The Littles' Race" (the younger siblings of those in the Allied Running Club - ages K-3rd grade) running a "mini" one-lap race.  Next, the girls (ages 4th - 8th grade) will be running their race, with the boys (ages 4th - 8th grade) finishing the event with their race.  There will be a lot of happy kids and cheering families!  It's one of the best parties around!

If you would like to volunteer, feel free to respond to coachflo@fleetfeetmadison.com to let me know that you plan to attend the race as a volunteer! This way, I'll be able to assign posts for people to help!  Some volunteers are arriving at Marlborough Park at 9am to make sidewalk chalk "signs" on the course and help with initial set up and the registration table.  Race Day Events, LLC will be arriving around 9:30am to set up.  Other volunteers are encouraged to arrive by 9:45am to help with managing the flow of participants.  Please email and let me know what you would like to help with!

The top 3 winners of each race will receive a free entry for themselves and a grown-up to attend the epic "Color Me Rad" race at the Alliant Energy Center on Saturday, August 31st.  What a great way to be inspired to keep on running!  Thank you, Color Me Rad!
