For a few years now, the Vomero has been synonymous with high-cushioned neutral shoes. With the recent update, it is unlikely that this will change. The Mens is weighing in at 11.4 ounces and has a 12mm heel-to-toe drop.

A full length Cushlon mid-sole over the top of the waffle out-sole continues the tradition of full-length cushion and flexibility. Horizontally articulated cuts along the heel and forefoot increase durability by reducing impact on heel-strike and toe-off phases. Deep flex grooves within the waffle pattern add flexibility and provide the smooth, fluid motion through all phases of the foot strike.

Like all recent updated Nike shoes, the Vomero 9 sports Fly-Wire within the lacing system to create an adaptive and supportive fit. Cutouts in this area improve breath-ability and add a textured element to the shoe. The sandwich mesh upper has no-sew overlays continuing the plush feeling of the shoe all around the foot. Reflective elements in the heel and forefoot add to the fashionably constructed upper.
