Volunteer for Allied Running Club
Volunteering is a great way for friends and family to get involved in your events and to give back to others who will genuinely appreciate your encouragement as they challenge themselves to achieve new goals. Several No Boundaries participants are going to be involved with the Allied Running Club this summer - so you'll work with familiar faces and maybe make a few new friends!
This summer, we will have an opportunity to participate in an 8-week running club for kids 10-14 years old. Have you ever been a camp counselor? If not, did you ever secretly want to be? Do you enjoy spending time with kids who are discovering the joy of running and helping them reach their goals? You are warmly invited to volunteer for the Summer 2013 Allied Running Club sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports Madison and MSCR. It's one of the most enjoyable and satisfying things you can do this summer! There are 4 levels of commitment - so you can be as involved as much or as little as you'd like, while still making an impact! You can be a small group leader every Tuesday morning, you can be a drop-in volunteer a couple of times over the class on Tuesday or Thursday mornings, or you can help at the goal race only, if that works for you! Finally, if you're planning to volunteer for the Ironman Wisconsin Run Course, you can donate those hours towards a grant that Allied Running Club will receive for equipment. There are lots of ways to be involved!
