No Boundaries 5K & 10K Training | Spring 2025 

Discover the power of movement! In No Boundaries, you will find a community to cheer for you, challenge you, and help you reach your goals.  Learn how to build a fitness-oriented lifestyle through walking and run/walking. We aim to help participants move more comfortably and perform better at every stage of their walking or running journey. 

No Boundaries 5K: Learn to run, run/walk, or re-enter the sport. Training plans focus on incremental increases in run or walk time.   

No Boundaries 10K: For those who have successfully completed a 5K and are ready to continue building their endurance. All levels of runners and run/walkers are welcome! Training plans focus on incremental time and mileage increases.   

IMPORTANT PROGRAM DATES 

• Program Duration: March 19, 2025 – May 25th, 2025 

• Meet & Greet Kick-Off: Sunday, March 16 @ 9:45 a.m. | Fleet Feet Sun Prairie 

• First Group Run: Wednesday, March 19, 2025 

• Registration Deadline: Wednesday, March 12, 2025 | Online Registration Open

GOAL RACE* 

• 5K: Run Madtown 5K on Sat May 24, 2025 

• 10K: Run Madtown 10K on Sun May 25, 2025 

*Race entry is not included in the training program registration. Participants are welcome to choose another 5K or 10K around the same time. 

TRAINING PROGRAM RATES   

• Early Bird Registration: $99 (through February 12, 2025)  

• Regular Registration: $109 (February 13 – March 12, 2025)  

• Late Registration: $119 (March 13, 2025 and after)  

 
MEET AND GREET PROGRAM KICK-OFF  
Sunday, March 16, 2025 @ 9:00 a.m. | Fleet Feet Madison (8440 Old Sauk Rd.)  

This meeting will primarily be informational and is an excellent opportunity to introduce you to the coaches and answer questions. Plan for approximately 30-45 minutes of discussion. We will cover safety concerns and requirements, training plans and program details, group run protocol, the best gear for a successful training session, and discuss how we can help meet your needs this season.  
 
We will complete a short 20-minute walk following the kick-off to get to know each other better. 

GROUP RUNS/WALKS   

• Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.: Wednesdays we will meet at the Fleet Feet stores (Fleet Feet Madison: 8440 Old Sauk Rd. or Fleet Feet Sun Prairie: 2816 Prairie Lakes Dr.). Your choice of location! 

• Saturdays at 8:00 a.m.: Saturdays will rotate between Orchid Heights Park (3960 Valley Ridge Rd., Middleton), Vilas Park (1501 Vilas Park Dr., Madison), McDaniel Park (4806 McDaniel Ln., McFarland), and Sunfish Pond (Upper Yahara Trail - 4590 Windsor Rd, Deforest).

• A complete 10-week training program for walkers, run/walkers, and runners. Programming options based on goals and experience. No matter your pace, there is a place for you!   

• Weekly program emails with advice, training tips, gear highlights, and motivation

• Educational and interactive seminar series to supplement your training (e.g. good form running, injury prevention, foam rolling techniques, and strength)

NOTES/RECOMMENDATIONS  

No previous exercise or running experience is required. We recommend that you check with your doctor before starting a new fitness program.    

• All paces and abilities of walkers and runners welcome. Our programs are inclusive to a variety of paces and ability levels. You are not “too slow” and will not be left behind!
