Are you ready to transition from those cold winter months and crush an April half marathon?
Our 10-week Half Marathon Training program, meeting twice a week, will help you build your distance throughout the tough winter months. The training schedule is in line with the third annual Jersey City Half Marathon on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Got a half (or *full marathon) planned in the approximate training trimeframe of February 1st - April? Then this program is perfect for you!
Stay accountable and motivated with a training plan including daily assignments for running, walking, cross training, and recovery. Work with experienced Fleet Feet coaches and mentors on speed, endurance, running mechanics, fueling, hydration and more. Utilizing the **Final Surge training app, your coaches can tailor training to your comfort level, distance and ability.
*THINKING OF RUNNING JC FULL MARATHON? We can provide you with a marathon distance training plan and camaraderie of group training. In order to meet the marathon training mileage, you'll need to pre-load or add-on to the scheduled half marathon long runs. SUGGESTED ACTIVITY LEVEL
- Training program starts at 5 miles
- Run or run/walk 4 miles consecutively at a 14 min/mile pace or faster
- Please note that the Jersey City Half has a cut-off time of 10:30 AM (3h 30 min after the start)
