These services combined offer the most in-depth and state of the art shoe fitting and running gait evaluation in Southwest Ohio - all under one roof at Fleet Feet Fifty West.

What to Expect

First a Fleet Feet Outfitter will take you through our Outfitting Process that includes the 3D foot scan as well as the dynamic pressure plate scan. This information along with an indepth converstion around running goals, past injuries and footwear preferences will guide our footwear offerings specific to your foot shape, arch profile and, of course size and width. The Fleet Feet Outfitter will ensures proper shoe, sock and potential insole fit before you begin the second step of the experience.

The second step is the 3D Gait Analysis on the Woodway Treadmill. The Performance In Science Physical Therapist will lead you through a series short running exercises after outfitting you with 18 biomarkers that will provide realtime feedback to the system. The goal of this portion is to asset run form and optimize gait with the intention of proving real time feedback on how to prevent injury and maximize running economy. The complete analysis will also include access to the Run DNA app where the Physical Therapist will prescribe their gait retraining, strength, and mobility work as necessary. The app will be used to stay in contact with the participant after the session to check in on their post analysis progress.

What to Expect

3D Gait Analysis on the Woodway Treadmill. After a brief introduction to gain an understanding of running history, pain or ailments, the Performance In Science Physical Therapist will lead you through a series short running exercises after outfitting you with 18 biomarkers that will provide realtime feedback to the system. The goal of this portion is to asset run form and optimize gait with the intention of proving real time feedback on how to prevent injury and maximize running economy. A final report will be provided on the findings and suggestions but no additional follow up is included. 

• Plan to be in-store for 35-45 minutes 

• Wear or bring running clothes and your current running shoes and socks

• Bring a water bottle
