Reinvented for 2024 the New Fleet Feet Racing Team evolves into a team with a diversity of paces, abilities, and experiences. This collective is joined together by a love of running and drive to always improve performance. Athletes receive individual attention but in a small, team environment and the coaching will go beyond running. WIth science-based, individualized training that strategically integrates strength, mobility, and recovery into weekly plans this team members will be fully developed athletes - not just runners. Strong, healthy, happy athletes make for fast, fierce, competitive runners.
Bottom line: We're serious about running, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
The Fleet Feet Racing Team is a year-round training program for dedicated runners looking to elevate their individual performance within a team setting.
Under the guidance of head coach Laurah Turner, Ph.D., The Fleet Feet Racing Team's mission is to develop athletes to compete at their maximum potential. We offer science-driven, holistic, comprehensive, and personalized training programs for each of our athletes in a small group, team environment.
Over 15 years of coaching, competition, and research in endurance sports inform our approach to training. We know the key to performance lies at the intersection of our four training pillars:

Get better by working together. Team practices build momentum and motivation by training alongside athletes that share your drive to work hard and reach your maximum potential.
About The Head Coach
Laurah Turner, Ph.D
Laurah Turner has over 15 years of experience competing and coaching all levels of endurance athletes from first-time marathoners, to Olympic trial hopefuls. Laurah is a two-time marathon winner, Ironman 70.3 World Championship finisher, five-time USAT Nationals qualifier, and has qualified for the Boston Marathon over 15 times since her first marathon in 2007.
Laurah’s background includes extensive training and research in human biology, and exercise physiology as well as a Ph.D. in biomedical anthropology.
Laurah draws upon a foundation of evidence-based research and core principles of exercise science and physiology to develop each athlete. Because each athlete is unique, the strategy and plan necessary to develop an athlete to their full potential must also be unique.
Fleet Feet Racing Team Details
- All invited Fleet Feet Racing Team Participants will receive program registration information upon acceptance
- Each participant will have a one-on-one conversation with Coach Laurah to establish goals and help formulate a training strategy and plan
- Weekly Group Workouts beginning in July
- Custom Training through our team app with progress monitoring by Coach Laurah, including device synchronization
- Expert Advice: Direct access to our head coach and captains
- Saturday Long Runs: With the full Fleet Feet Training group.
- Exclusive Racing Kit: A New Balance Fleet Feet Racing Team kit, including a tee and warm-up
- Strava Team Group: A community to share workouts and communicate
- Team Gym Access: Including the Lightspeed treadmill, with options for additional strength and therapy packages

Our racing team represents a diversity of paces, abilities, and experiences. We are a collective joined together by our love of running and drive to always improve our performance. If you are interested in joining the Fleet Feet Racing Team, please fill out this brief questionnaire so we can get to know you and your running a little better. It's very important to us that we get the right people into this program so that everyone's (coaches and runners) expectations are understood and met.
Application Review Windows
Applications are open now and go through July 15, 2024. During that time applications can be submitted and applicats will be notified.
