In 2011 on a very beautiful November morning the first ever Hanna's Hope 5k & 10K Run/ Walk was held on the roads around and through Fall River. This race was originally planned as a onetime event to benefit the Gregorio family as their daughter Hanna was treated for Leukemia. Over 600 people ran or walked in the race and volunteers from Team Hanna and the community worked hard to make the race a great and memorable event. We were very proud of the event's success and many people requested that we make the race an annual event. Hanna has finished her treatment. Team Hanna would like to keep Hanna's Hope Run/ Walk an annual event to help benefit other families in the community who are facing similar situations.
