Fleet Feet Mishawaka Ambassador Team

The Fleet Feet Ambassador Team is a group that will act as representatives of Fleet Feet Mishawaka within the local running community. They will be highly active outside of the store to promote many Fleet Feet community initiatives, such as training programs, race sponsorships, and in-store and out-of-store events. The Ambassador Team exists to help us grow deeper roots in our community and to see it flourish in all things running, walking, or multisport. Above all, this Ambassador team lives the Fleet Feet core values (listed below).

When you apply for the Ambassador team, you'll be applying for a 12-month term as an Ambassador. Applications are being taken now through November 22, 2024. We will close the application process at the end of the day on November 22, 2024, and will contact those who have made the Ambassador team on December 5, 2024.

Our Ambassador Team has only the best of the best when it comes to their commitment to the community. Because of that, we treat them like kings and queens. Here's a list of what you get when you commit:

The Cost

So you're asking, "What's the catch?" There are a few requirements to be a part of the team. Here's a list of what we expect when you sign up to commit:

1. Volunteer a minimum of (20) total hours at Fleet Feet hosted events, or sponsored races, during your term. These can be things like The Big Run, mentoring a training program, in-store clinics, themed fun-runs, or expos. Some events, like our weekly Pub Run, are excluded.

2. When present at a Fleet Feet event, you must be wearing something with a Fleet Feet logo and you are discouraged from wearing something logo’d with a competitor. For instance, you may have a Fleet Feet hat on, but you might also be wearing a race shirt with the logo of a competitor. Please avoid this when attending a Fleet Feet event.

4. In addition to Fleet Feet branded apparel, you must also be wearing a shoe brand that Fleet Feet carries. Remember, this program is for super-fans of Fleet Feet and this role is to support the efforts we’re making to grow the running and walking community in our area. If you’re not wearing gear from our store, why would anyone else?

5. When in attendance at a Fleet Feet event or when engaging someone on social media, we ask that you support the offerings of the store. If someone asks you for shoe advice, send them to us! If someone wants to know about a good headlamp, send them to us! If they are grieving about blisters, send them to us! Try to avoid sending them to competitor websites or Amazon.
*A note to this: Because we are the experts in these areas, we would never recommend something to someone that isn’t an actual solution for them. When they win, we win!

6. Lastly, we ask that while you are enrolled in the Fleet Feet Ambassador program, you take initiative to represent us on your social channels. Great times to do this would be to snap some photos during Fleet Feet events or Fleet Feet sponsored events and post with our official hashtags: #fleetfeetmishawaka and #runningchangeseverything and tag us @fleetfeetmishawaka.

If you're saying, "I already do that", then the Ambassador program is for you! We will be limiting the program to only a select number, so be sure to take your time on the application and give it serious consideration.
