Summer Shuffle - A Relay to Nowhere!

Looking for a fun alternative to virtual racing? Grab a team of 4 buddies to walk or run the Summer Shuffle, A Relay To Nowhere! 

Build a team with locals, or teammates from around the globe. Use our suggested loop, or your own creative route. You and your team will have 60 hours to finish 20 or 40 miles…relay style! 

Complete your race between Friday, July 31st - 6am and

Sunday, August  2nd - 6pm

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: 

Local Teammate Option

• Fleet Feet will provide 2 suggested local 5-mile loops that intersect. Race route details TBA.
• Or, you can design your own route right from your home!
• Timing details TBA.

Teammates from ALL OVER, Virtual Option

• Have you always wanted to run with a buddy/family member who lives hundreds of miles away?  Well, this is your chance!
• Figure out routes that, when combined, cover your team's 20 or 40 mile distance.
• Timing details TBA.

LOGISTICS

• Complete the relay any time during the 60 hour window. Maybe you want to avoid the heat & humidity of the day, or maybe you’ve always wanted to run in the middle of the night with a headlamp on.  Sounds fun to us!
• Race must be completed between Friday, July 31st - 6am and Sunday, August  2nd - 6pm
• Teams of 4
• Each teammate will be responsible to cover 5 miles for the 20 mile challenge and 10 miles for the 40 mile challenge. 
• Rankings by total cumulative time

REGISTRATION

• $10 per teammate
• $15 Add on for commemorative t-shirt
• All relay teammates must register individually.
• One person takes responsibility to create the team name on RunSignUp and shares the password with teammates.
• Register for 20 or 40 mile race.
