Amber Gebhard

Though raised in Southern Indiana, Amber spent her college years at Western Kentucky University (Go Hilltoppers!) and spent the last 14 years in Central Kentucky before moving to the Lowcountry.

The beaches, the weather (much less snow than in Kentucky), and the fact that Charleston is one of her most favorite places on earth are what brought her here.

Outside of Fleet Feet Amber enjoys running, staying active, working out, reading, chasing the sunset, bourbon tasting, watching Kentucky basketball, Western Kentucky and the Colts football teams, and just being happy in life.

Coming out of "marathon retirement", Amber just registered for another one. She also plans to complete a half ironman within the next year.

Amber's co-workers and getting the chance to meet and connect with others each day are the reasons she gives for why she loves working at Fleet Feet. "I needed the 'right' job to move to Charleston and I found it at Fleet Feet", Amber shared

Fun fact about Amber - She had a "late start" to running and loves it. She grew up riding and showing horses, even competing on the equestrian team in college. "It wasn't until college that I began running 'for fun' and I have loved it ever since. Like with showing horses, running is also a social event that brings people together. I love knowing that the two things I love have given me the chance to meet friends from all over and various walks of life."
