As we celebrate the holidays, the American Red Cross encourages donors to give something that means something – a blood donation!

Here is why your donation is so important:

• Holiday fun can push blood donation to the bottom of the to-do list. Winter weather and seasonal illness can also impact the blood supply.
• Donors can give something that means something this holiday season. We need the public to make giving blood a priority this month to ensure we can meet the needs of patients all winter long.
