Occupation/Day Job: Human Anatomy and Physiology and Environmental Science Teacher, USAT Level 1 Triathlon Coach
My Favorite Tri Races -70.3 Syracuse (now the Onondagaman), Patriotman 70.3 in MA, Delta Lake Olympic/Sprint
"I am a mother of two incredible boys, one a college Freshman and the other a high school Freshman. I have been teaching high school biology for 20 plus years in the local area. I joined the Fleet Feet family of tri’s in 2011 and have never looked back! I became a volunteer coach that year under Head Coach Brendan Jackson and by 2014 I had moved into the assistant Coach position. After his passing, I began a journey to become a head coach in my own right and became a USAT Level 1 coach in 2018, starting my own triathlon training company and working with local racing and training groups before making my way back to the Fleet Feet family last year to restart the triathlon program as the Head Coach. In the years since starting on my triathlon journey I have seen the incredible power of this community and sport that can help individuals not just reach their racing goals but transform their lives. The journey from novice to coach has been an exciting and challenging one that has created many incredible moments along the way. I have been blessed with the joy and pleasure of seeing so many athletes cross their goal finish lines and I can truly say that the magic of seeing their journeys never gets old! I am looking forward to continuing to help this community “Tri” and crush those goals! See you in the pool and on the roads!"
