2017 Cross Country Kickoff

What: XC Fun Run

When: Saturday, August 5th, 7:30-9:30 am.

Where: Fleet Feet Raleigh, 3532 Wade Avenue

Calling all high school cross country runners! Grab your teammates and join us at the Wade Avenue store to kickoff the cross country season on Saturday, August 5, at 7:30 a.m.

We'll start with a large group run along the greenway of anywhere from 2-6 miles, with an option to extend to 10 miles. We will provide an out-and-back route from the store to Crabtree Valley Mall via the House Creek Greenway.

After the run we'll meet back at the store where teams will compete in fitness challenges to see who can hold a wall-sit and plank for the longest. Saucony, our event sponsor, will join us with giveaways and raffle prizes.

Cross country spikes have arrived in the store, so we will also have staff available after the event to fit runners for shoes. As always, our high school runner discount applies on both spikes and trainers.
