This is a 4-week training program for people who want to train over the summer, but want to avoid the roads and heat of the North Carolina sun and stick to the trails.
Pre-requisites: Must be able to run/walk 3 miles. This is a beginner program, but some running experience is required.
Meeting Days: Tuesday nights (primarily at Umstead State Park) – 6:00 PM and alternating Saturday 7:30AM (rotating locations in the Raleigh area). You will receive a calendar of the locations for each training day at the beginning of the program.
Cost: $45. Includes – training plan, coached runs, educational seminars, yummy goodies, sponsor discounts in store.
First Workout: Tuesday, June 4th at 6PM; Location: Umstead Park
Goal Distance: To cater to various ability levels we will have routes/groups for multiple long runs distances.
