          Basically, this little chip allows your iPhone to receive signals from other ANT+ compatible devices. Translated: If you use the GPS option on your iPhone, you can now also use the foot pod, heart rate monitor, and bike speed/cadence sensor with your Garmin FIT iPhone app.
