HOKA Mach X
Features
Push your pace with the HOKA Mach X.
HOKA took their fan-favorite Mach running shoe which is known for its speedy comfort and added a Pebax® plate to the Mach X to give you even more energy return and propulsion. The midsole of this training shoe is also built with a high-rebound layer of PEBA foam that is 34% more resilient than the Carbon X 3 foam.
Soft, yet snappy, this versatile trainer is comfortable enough for long runs but capable of picking up the pace too. The Pebax plate combined with HOKA’s signature early-stage Meta-Rocker technology propels you forward every step of the way. One runner said "everything about the design creates efficiency for me. I feel smooth and strong during workouts and the plastic plate helps to propel me forward with each step,” in our HOKA Mach X Review.
The engineered jacquard mesh upper is lightweight and breathable, while the gusseted tongue wraps around your foot for the perfect fit. Plus, a Durabrasion rubber outsole gives you the durability to rack up the miles during training.
The HOKA Mach X is tuned for training and ready for race day.

Odd fit and made my feet hurt
These felt great when I put them on and ran around the store. However when I ran in them outdoors for 5 miles I felt like I couldn’t get the laces adjusted correctly. Also it felt like my feet were heavy and they started hurting. There were a couple of places I could feel the seams inside the shoe and I felt like the shoes were causing me to overpronate. I am a mid- to forefoot runner usually supinate. After the run I the soles of both my feet hurt all over and I felt more fatigued/achy in general than I normally do after a run. I exchanged these shoes for the Mach 5 which feel better on my feet.
Wannabe Endo Speed 3s
This is a wanna be Saucony Endo Speed 3. Heavy not as comfortable not as cushioned not as snappy just underwhelming. When I need a new pair sometimes I like to explore other shoes to see if I can get a little bit better. This was a wrong choice. Returned and bought another pair of Saucony Endo Speed 3s.
Mixed feelings
I love the extra cushion stability and durability of this daily trainer. I want to give this shoe a higher rating but I am having issues with the tongue and laces impinging the front of left ankle. I’ve also had issues with sizing. I’ve ordered 2 pairs both men’s size 12.5 and one fits great but other feels like a half size too small.
Quality but not the right fot
High quality wanted to love them but heel slipped
Just in time for marathon
I wanted a new pair of mach x for the Des Moines marathon. They were able to ship them to my house with days to spare. Wonderful shoe to run in. Zero issues with no break in no blisters or foot/ankle soreness from the 26.2 whatsoever. Would highly recommend!
